Negotiations - of any kind - always involve some give and take. Fine, but where's their 'give'?

The people of Iran are on the verge of a nation-wide famine - with some families down to only 'emergency rations, so, in a magnanimous jesture, this afternoon, the US government formally waived oil sanctions on Iran for two months - allowing for roughly $10 billion in revenue as nuclear talks continued with Iranian officials in Switzerland.
The Treasury Department waiver lasts through Aug. 21 - giving Iran the ability to openly sell its oil for the first time since the 1990s, meaning it will pocket new profits by avoiding discounted sales.
The waiver was announced as Vice President JD Vance prepared to depart peace talks in Switzerland - and follows President Trump last week lifting the two-month US naval blockade of Iranian ports.
I think this is where we are seeing a bit of Trump's softer side. He's certainly not afraid to use our military to crush the regime - we've seen that already, but I believe his empathy for the people  of Iran is maybe just a bit stronger than his hatred of the regime.
If, and only IF the regime uses that freed-up money to feed it's people, all well and good right? One dime - one single fuckin' dime - goes to Hezbollah and the gloves - and the gun muzzles - will come off. That we CAN be sure of.

  2. Interesting almost like we've won the war or something?

Trump was about a week ago was informed by the CEO's of the Oil Companies that our "Self Sufficient in Oil" he was bragging about isn't true and releasing our strategic oil reserve to KEEP Gasoline prices low wasn't clever.

At best IF we QUIT SELLING OIL to the rest of the world so "cheap" because Trump tweeted "Need oil WE have Plenty" and stop dumping our oil reserves to EU, India and Asia we MIGHT be able to replace our 60 day reserve and start again fighting Iran for the glory of Greater Israel.

Trump at the G7 meeting SNIP “My whole life is about deals,” Mr. Trump said at a news conference at the end of the meeting. “Crazy things happen with deals.” He added that if everything went wrong, he might blame it on Vice President JD Vance.

Looks like as before as thing go bad Trump blames and fires folks.

It's the ECONOMY Stupid some smarter than I gentleman said. We're going into MIDTERMS and IF the economy sucks, the Presidents PARTY loses seats, and Trump goes on the Impeachment Tour again. This time there is enough RINOS and angry folks they might succeed.

Us regular American's just get the crazy inflation as diesel goes UP as it affects TRUCKERS, Farmers and so on so wanna guess how expensive FOOD is going to get folks?

    1. Dan how is Trump demanding "Unconditional Surrender " any different than Iran setting their terms when clearly we lost the war?

If in your view Trump won, please explain in detail what of Trumps tweet war plans did we accomplish.

The strait was open and no tolls BEFORE the Epstien war and now what?

      So much "winning ".
