And so, the slow, steady spiral to winter begins anew...

Today, June 22, marks the astronomical turning point for the Southern Hemisphere - the official start of winter and the shortest day of the year, when the sun begins its steady climb back toward spring. As the days slowly start to lengthen again, it is the perfect moment to reflect, pause, and embrace the stillness of the season.
For those of us up here in the Northern Hemisphere, it marks the day when the weather Gods start to laugh at us. It's hurricane season again, and the days keep getting shorter and shorter until we reach December, and it all just gets worse weather-wise from there.
Other than that, have a nice day...
