Democrats are planning to send a 'strong message' (although none of them know what that 'message' is, beyong that 'NoKings' nonsense) to President Trump upon his arrival Friday in The Villages. Participants are expected to gather at the four corners of the Marsh Trail Bend and Central Parkway roundabout from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 1. This location is about three-quarters of a mile away from where President Trump will be speaking at The Villages High School in Middleton.
The cosponsoring organizations, including the Florida Democratic Party, the Democratic Club of The Villages, Central Florida Tri-County Indivisible and Villagers4Democracy, expect hundreds of golf carts to show up and park along three of the corners of te intersection. At the fourth corner near the fire station, people will stand and sit.
Carts will be decorated with signs, flags and other 'patriotic' paraphernalia. People will hold signs and blue patriotic umbrellas, all in the name of a 'peaceful anti-Trump rally'.

I'm guessing President Trump will be one of the younger people in the venue.
ReplyDeleteNo fool like an old fool. Ask anyone of them exactly what Trump did to foment their hatred and they''ll be dumbfounded.
ReplyDeleteTrump should arrive in a firetruck and give'em a good hosing. They probably smell like old people.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't you love to have one of those horns that was on the General?
ReplyDeleteMaybe Bikers for Trump will show up. That would be amazing.
I'm a conservative leaning independent and dislike democrats as much as the next guy. But I feel like I have to ask you if you believe the country in general is going in the right direction? Is Trump doing a good job in your opinion?
ReplyDeleteI certainly don't believe that Trump is doing a good job, living up to expectations or taking us in the right direction.
I had high expectations for Trump's second term but so far all we are getting is high energy prices, inflation and little to no predictability.
In this context. Are you surprised that democrats feel energized to protest?

They're getting paid.
DeleteWith that pro-glyphosate pronunciamento Trump unmistakably lost his way. Nevertheless, even if glyphosate costs him his mind this summer, which could easily happen... "We hate you" can be a loud message but it's a message from weak minds.
