A Megatsunami we all didn't notice? Good thing we weren't on a cruise ship...

I never even heard about this, and it's said to have created one of the biggest tsunami waves in history. This image depicts a simulation of the August 10, 2025, landslide and megatsunami in Tracy Arm, Alaska.
The landslide originated from a mountainside at an elevation of approximately 1,025 meters (3,360 feet), depositing a volume of rock roughly 24 times larger than the Great Pyramid of Giza into the fjord. The resulting wave reached a maximum run-up height of 481 meters (1,578 feet) on the opposite side of the fjord.
This event is recognized as the second-highest tsunami ever recorded, surpassed only by the 1958 Lituya Bay, Alaska, tsunami. The landslide was 'preconditioned' by the rapid retreat of the South Sawyer Glacier, of course blamed on 'climate change' - a ubiquitous phrase that no one as yet has been able to actually define -  which left the rock slope unsupported and vulnerable to collapse.

This is a great bag at a great price. Click on the picture or the description here:
Great overnight bag too - under $ 20.00! I have one and use it often.
