Single engine plane crashes into row of homes as three
people make ‘miracle’ escape from beneath the wreckage...
This report is from TheSun.com. I love how they use superlatives in their reporting. According to them, "This is the terrifying moment a plane smashed through two North Phoenix homes nearly killing three people in the carnage. The small commuter plane crash-landed into the back gardens of the homes, leaving the trio just seconds to make their miracle escape from beneath the debris."
They paint one helluva picture, don't they...

The author of that article is an idiot. They describe the aircraft as both a "commuter plane" and a "jet" with the smell of "jet fuel" at the scene. Fortunately, at the very end of the article they accurately quote the FAA which accurately described the aircraft as a Piper PA-28.
ReplyDeleteThe lights are still flashing. If there was no fire why did they have only seconds to escape?
