A New Jersey Girl Scout troop has taken cookie sales to new heights, setting up shop right outside a popular cannabis dispensary.
A South Jersey-based troop recently teamed up with Daylite Dispensary in Mount Laurel to sell their beloved cookies at the cannabis shop this cookie season.
“You use cannabis, you get the munchies,” Daylite Dispensary owner Steve Cassidy told NJ.com “There’s a connection between snacks and cannabis and the fact that we don’t have to pretend that doesn’t exist anymore is really awesome.”

The packages are smaller and they raised their price to $6 this year, so I told 'em "No". But good on 'em for setting up in a smart sales location.
ReplyDeleteA few years ago in Colorado (I think) some GS tried this and got in trouble for breaking some ludicrous law.
ReplyDeleteyeah. I have also seen them set up outside of a weight watchers joint too. and man, where they selling them cookies !
ReplyDeleteI was a Girl Scout in the late 60's. I lived by a local college and went door to door in the dormitories. No one had ever thought to do that. I sold a lot of cookies, but I also saw things I shouldn't have seen at that age... It would never be allowed now.
