It's amazing how good Waterson was at capturing the essence of everyday
life through the eyes of these two. That's the best reason I know to keep C&H on the blog every day. And you all pretty much all agree, don'tcha?
One commentor said it best: 'I don't mind seeing repeats - I don't even remember what I had for lunch today'. Well said, and damned if it ain't true for most of us...

ReplyDeleteIt was a great time to open a newspaper. My kids get a taste of it now.
I got the collection for my grandkids. I told my son not to hide it away in a bookcase but to toss it on the floor for the kids to stumble onto occasionally. I knew they, like us (me!), always find one that's a sidesplitter.
DeleteTruth is, for me, C&H never gets old.
