You have to understand the officer's mindset on this. All police pensions in most major cities are based on the averages of salary plus overtime in the last three years of their service.
Most cops - no matter the rank - bang the shit out of whatever overtime they can get during that time period to average up their paychecks so that their pension will be higher. It makes perfect sense for them, if you think about it. They didn't create the system, and it's my belief they have every right to do it, especially for the rank officers.
If you take away the incentive to continue working, why would they? My father retired as a Captain on the Newark, NJ PD after working 38 years. That length of service is extraordinary, of course, but he loved his job and wanted to stay as long as he could.
For the last three years+ that he worked, he was an Inspector - the highest rank short of Police Chief. The Police Commissioner (at that tine a politically-appointed black man working for a black Mayor and black City Council) demoted him to Captain under some bullshit race-related 'equal rights' thing, and fucked him out of thousands of dollars a year in pension benefits. He retired the next day and the Force lost a great Officer.

I have forgot how many jobs I wasn't able to get because of being the wrong color. and the army wasn't any better. I seen clowns who could not find their own ass on a map make rank faster than white guys did. any job I ever had under a black guy/woman I got shafted one way or another.

guess the race ? had to stop in after 6 months or so for something and had patients asking why I left. guys who where in and out inside of 10 minutes now had to wait hours for the same thing. funny that now isn't it ?

DeleteSmall business set asides for the Federal government contracts give preference to women and minority owned business, to the point there is no reason for a white man to even try. The deck is stacked against him.
But that is all part of the plan. Get those officers to retire and replace them muslim officers.
