Some context on "representation." When our nation was founded, there was one US House member for every 30,000 counted citizens (yes, the 2/5 rule applied, blacks and women couldn't vote, and neither could anyone under 21). Given the other restrictions on voting, in some places, that meant as few as 5000 actual VOTERS per representative. Today, it is 1 US House member for every 750,000-1,000,000 counted "citizens." If we were to RESTORE the level of "representation" to what is was when the US started, when we had NO Income tax, no jewish-controlled central bank, a sound currency, a government 1/10000000th the size of our current government, a debt 1/1000000000000the the size of our current debt, etc., we would need a US House with 18,400 members, NOT the current 435. YES!!!! That is HOW MUCH REPRESENTATION THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM US. Now don't misinterpret my desire to see FULL REPRESENTATION with the belief that we need 18,000 MORE career criminal inside-traders shafting us every second. But it does bring up the OBVIOUS reality that the US is WAY TOO LARGE to receive adequate representation in our legislature. The US is the SECOND LEAST REPRESENTED NATION ON EARTH...yet we claim to be a "Republic" which is founded on "representation." LOL Just imagine if you have 42 times more folks representing your state. Might there actually be folks who represented YOU rather than Israel, bigPharma, bigInsurance, bigOil, WallStreet, etc???
ReplyDeleteWhile I agree that the current representation level is not adequate if we were to go the way you suggest the House would be forever in Democratic control. NYC would get 460 representatives. Chicago would get 150 representatives. LA would get over 200 representatives.

There can be no coexisting with the left. And it's way past time to accept that reality and act on it. They aren't interested in anything but ruling over all of us....with the proverbial iron fist.

Speaking is free but moving from speech to action has costs. Are you prepared to face those costs? Do you think the rest of the country will be there with you?
I remember a SOTU address when it was an unthinkable and unpardonable offense that a Republican asserted that Obama lied in his speech.
