This is the Church of the Sacred Heart at Dunlewey, located in County Donegal, Ireland. it's the church my niece Niki got married in a few years ago. We went over for the wedding and I havta tell you it was like something out of the Quiet Man movie.
The church is nestled at the foot of Mount Errigal, the highest peak in County Donegal. It is also known as the Old Church of Dunlewey.
The dramatic setting near the shores of Lough Dunlewey makes it a popular attraction. The area is a remote and scenic part of the ancient province of Ulster.
