Throw money at 'em - they'll definetly vote for ya...

What ever became of DOGE? Why is it that these elected officials - at every level - just don't give a fuck about how much of your money they spend, and especially on or for what. They throw money at programs that arent necessary and not effective just to get them voters, plain and simple. I gotta ask you a serious question. Can you live without a credit card? Sure - it might be a pain in the ass to do with all the online shit we do, but you could do it.

So, seriously - how do we get the Federal spending 'credit cards' out of these people's hands? God knows they don't give a fuck about you or your children or your children's children who'll have to pick up the tab for all this ridiculous shit. What's the answer? I sure as fuck don't have one...

  1. well, my Dad had a idea of what to do with the "congress critters" when they try to spend more than they take in.
STOP THEIR PAY. any time they spend more than they 'take in " just don't pay them. and we need to stop this life time pay scam they put in place. where else on EARTH does anyone get their full paycheck after just "working" 5 years ?
NO WHERE ELSE. and now people are beginning to understand why people spend MILLIONS to get a "job" that only pays 174,000 per year. between that and insider trading/stock deals it is easy to get rich as hell if you do not have any morals. and not many of then do from what i have seen of them.
until we take away the power to "vote" themselves pay increases , not much is going to change.
here a idea. pay them like a army officer, like O-5 pay. make them all live in post housing (no more real estate money making deals )
or charging us to 'buy housing". make them ALL take a bus to work - a very green idea ! cuts down on traffic too.
they want to go home, fine. take a C-130 or the train. no more 'private plane" rides.
and all of "their" healthcare is handled by the VA. no one else unless they pay for it.
I still say , if old Vlad dropped a nuke on DC. he would be doing US and the world a huge favor.

  3. DOGE was such a wasted opportunity.
Gutting USAID might have been satisfying and definitely a step in the right direction but if Trump or Elon were serious about DOGE they should have started with the big money pots. Defense, social security and healthcare (medicare/medicaid) and debt services are the big spending drivers.
Social security $ belong to the people that contributed them. If we touch Medicare/Medicaid we will also nuke the private insurance system and the everybody is fucked. If we stop paying our debt we will become the next Argentina... The only expenditure that can really be reduced is defense. Furthermore if we are scaling back foreign entanglements there should be no problem with scaling down our military.

Unfortunately because DOGE was done in the worse possible way. Now the idea of government efficiency has been killed for a generation.
Now instead of government efficiency we are building a gold covered ballroom and have placed 1/3 of our navy near Venezuela (does Hegseth know that we don't need an aircraft carrier to intercept drug smuggling boats?). Trump's second term is becoming a monument to inefficiency

  4. DECEMBER 2025 - the United States has signed six memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with six African countries totaling over $4 billion in direct U.S. investment. AKA "Throwing Money Down The Toilet.
BTW - Did you get the wrod? Social Security is still going broke so we can expect a reduction in monthly Social Security checks somtime in the future..
But at least Six more African Potentates will be able to feather their nests with billions of American dollars.
