Tom Stiglich is one of my favorite editorial cartoonists. He has a way of ver simply capturing the essence of a person or an issue that I appreciate and relate to. In this case, he certainly portrays the scope of Reiner's body of work, which was substantial by any measure, but there's a back story to that guy that some may not be aware of.
My friend Mark Simone demonstrated how it was possible for Trump to say what he did about the guy. Reiner WAS a TDS-afflicted hater, and he wasn't quite about it - in fact he made it a point every chance he got to bash Trump on every signal issue he could. He was relentless in his efforts on social media. This is a classic example of a guy who thought his shit didn;t stink and his opinion mattered. Truth was, it didn't - unless he was preaching to the choir of his Hollywood elitist buddies. Here's some examples of how far he went.If you can't read 'em, open thic pic in a new window or enlarge your screem size...

I wanna ask you guys a serious question about this blog
and it's content and style - and format - or lack thereof...
The readership of the blog has held steady at just under 10,000 +/- every day, and that's something I'm really proud of. But the number is static - it's held at about that number for around a year. Would it help gain me readers if I stuck to just talking about the news? Ya see, I really don't wanna do that.
My intent when I started this thing six years ago (January 24, 2019, to be exact) was just to have a place to share ideas and items that I found interesting, and I didn't wanna do it on social media, because that has been nothing but clutter and bullshit for at least ten years now. So, my question is - are you guys okay with my no-format format? I am, but that's juss' me sayin'...

Seems like it was just last week, but it was forty years ago last night, just before 5:30 p.m., that a limousine carrying Gambino family boss Paul Castellano pulled up to a red light on a side street near Grand Central Terminal in Midtown Manhattan. What he didn't know was that sitting right beside him in the next car over and hidden behind tinted windows was Gambino captain John Gotti — the man who was about to have Castellano murdered right then and there. Castellano was on his way to an early dinner meeting at Sparks Steak House on the next block. As soon as Gotti spotted Castellano at the traffic light, he radioed in the assassination order: "Stopped at the light… the first car… coming through."
The moment Castellano opened his door and his feet hit the sidewalk in front of the restaurant, three gunmen disguised in long white trench coats and black Russian fur hats pulled out semi-automatic pistols and shot him dead in a hail of gunfire before calmly disappearing into the rush-hour crowd. After the hit was done, Gotti pulled out from his parking spot and drove slowly past the bodies of Castellano and his driver (pictured above) to make sure they were dead before heading back toward Brooklyn to assume control of the Gambino family.

It's all about that bullshit sense of entitlement that some people have that they think they can get away with whatever the fuck they want because they're confident most people won't tell them they're doing something stupid or unacceptable. Back in the day, if a woman hadda feed her kid, she'd whip a bottle out of her purse and be done with it. No, this chic thinks it's okay to whip a tit out in public because she thinks she's cool. Somebody shoulda smacked her in the back of the fuckin' head just for the fuck of it. Juss' sayin'...

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara depicted Mary and Joseph as “outsiders,” comparable to illegal aliens, as he criticized the Trump administration’s immigration policies.
During a speech alongside Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) and religious leaders, O’Hara spoke about how it was a “very, very difficult time” for the communities in the city, as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have been enforcing the nation’s immigration laws.

This is Don Featherstone. An artist and designer, he is also the creator of the original Plastic Lawn Flamingo (while he was working for the Union Products Company in Massachusetts). He's pictured on his own front lawn in 1957. The State of Florida should name a highway after this guy...

Pornhub has since reached out to more than 200 million premium users, warning their data may have been stolen during the breach. How profitable is that fuckin' business? Hackers are said to be extorting the pornography platform after search and watch history was reportedly stolen.
According to MailOnline, the adult site confirmed “unauthorised access” had been gained through a third party data company. It said: “We recently learned that an unauthorised party gained unauthorised access to analytics data stored with Mixpanel, a third-party data analytics service provider.
Maybe it's just me, but I've never seen the attraction of this shit. I mean, I can go back to the one time I went to see a porn movie at a Times Square movie house in the late 70's. The place was disgusting, the people were creepy, and the movie was stupid, but that's just my opinion.
I read the other day that something like 40% of ALL internet traffic is about porn in one way or another. That number boggles the mind...
