If Sinatra and Dean and Ella and The Count came back top life, I might pay that much. Sting for $ 300+ a ticket? GTFOH...

Right now, the cheapest tickets you could find for Sting’s concert tonight in Atlantic City is $304 on Viagogo. If you happen to miss out on this ticket, then you can find another ticket close in price to that on Vivid Seats for $298.
I saw Led Zepplin in MSG for only $8.00. I saw The Who outside live for $ 7.00. I know everything is relevant, but take a date to see this has-been and it cost ya $ 600 fish just for seats? Fuck that and fuck him. Who the fuck does this jughead think he is that he demands that kinda price? Not the least of which is he hasn't done anything relevant for 25 years. People are idiots. Juss' sayin'...

Think about that for a minute. A US Senator swears to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, bear true faith and allegiance to it, and faithfully discharge the duties of their office. The full oath includes an affirmation of taking the obligation freely, without mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and concludes with 'So help me God'.
Do ya think his personal God told him to act like a fuckin' jerkoff, encouraging people to prevent law enforcement from doing their jobs? That's tantamount to treason in my book.

An overly-simplistic message, but none the less accurate.

Do you get his thinking behind this idea? It's simple - maybe you don't regain much equity over the time you are in that home, but the day-to-day cost of living in it is reduced fairly dramatically. The rationale behind it is that most people eventually move on from their first houses, so virtually no one would go the full 50-year term, especially old farts like me. I mean - fuck - I'll be dead in ten years or so, why would I give a shit. It's really not a bad idea.

This is a close-up of the distinctive Art Deco ornamentation at the top of the General Electric Building (also known as 570 Lexington Avenue) in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The building was completed in 1930 and was originally known as the RCA Victor Building. Its crowning crest features intricate terracotta work with metal lightning bolts and other Art Deco elements. The style is characterized by geometric forms, symmetry, and a "machine aesthetic". The building is a prominent example of Art Deco architecture, a style that was popular between the 1920s and 1940s.
Built in a time and style that pleases the eye as well as serving a function, these kinds of building are just a thing of the past.

  1. I looked at Sting tickets in Tampa and the cheapest seat was $1500 at the time, F that. I went to the Italian bar a few years back, cold rainy day but a pretty cool little town and the bar was well a bar Godfather or not.

  3. I saw Gordon Sumner open for the Grateful Dead three days in a row back in May of '94 (I was 23) at the Silver Bowl in Las Vegas for $25 day. Because he was playing to the same crowd for three days he played the entire Police catalog, he only repeated whatever solo radio hit that was current at the time. $300 for him without Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland, not to mention no Jerry Garcia? No way. Sorry Gordon, hard pass.
