But who would eat this crap anyway?

This is some serious 'Soylent Green' shit you're looking at here - even a vegan
would be hard pressed to even think about eating this lab-grown craziness.

Texas has become the 7th state to officially ban the sale of lab-grown meat, following in the footsteps of Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, and Indiana. Governor Greg Abbott signed Senate Bill 261, which prohibits the production, sale, and distribution of cell-cultured proteins in the state.
This move is seen as a major step in protecting traditional agriculture and ensuring that Texas remains a stronghold for American farming values. With this law set to take effect about now, the state continues to fight for its agricultural future against growing tech-driven alternatives.

PS: Barb asked me to remind those of you that may
have an item 'in your cart' on her Etsy page  that if
you want it, yo better buy it, because having it 'in your
cart' does not make it unavailable for others.
Other shoppers can still purchase the item if it
is not marked 'sold'. Thanks...

  1. States can ban this garbage but as long as it's allowed to exist unscrupulous people will find a way to force into the food chain.

  2. Does this also mean that Campbell's soup is no longer available in those states? What about McNuggets which contain so much goo that they may as well be considered mock-meat?

    1. Campbell's soup using 3D printed meat is pretty well debunked. Chicken is much cheaper to produce than 3D printed chicken-wannabe.

If you're not able to distinguish something that traces back to an animal from something that has no animal in its origin, you might want to sit out this debate.

  3. We really need to discourage entrepreneurs from creating new products, especially if they conflict with powerful interests like the agriculture lobby. Next thing you know, people might actually want to buy this stuff -- then where would we be?

  4. If the taste and texture is good then bring it on! For starters it will be free of antibiotics they pump into animals.

    1. Free of antibiotics? That's just funny. You do realize the biggest proponent of fake meat (Bill Gates) is all about forced vaccination and has already proposed vaccinating people via tampering with the food supply.

  5. I read today that scientists are making artificial milk. Dairy Farmers are having to dump thousands of pounds of it and some egghead thinks that we need lab brewed titty juice?
