They're getting serious about crime in SanFran. Seriously. We're not talking chicken shit crimes either...

A Bay Area activist was found guilty on Wednesday of breaking into a meat processing plant and stealing four chickens she said had been mistreated, in a trial that was being closely watched by animal rights groups and the agricultural industry.

A jury in Sonoma County, north of San Francisco, convicted Zoe Rosenberg, 23, of felony conspiracy, trespassing and other charges for a nighttime raid she conducted at Petaluma Poultry in 2023. Ms. Rosenberg, a student at the University of California, Berkeley, faces up to four and a half years in jail.

Maybe she should try her hand at opening a sidewalk drug market like the 500 they have in Frisco that nobody gives a fuck about. Be much safer - and probably a bit more remunerative than kidnapping chickens. My god - they have some seriously fucked up priorities out there...

Let's talk about one of my pet peeves for a minute here - how people who write headlines really should look for a different line of work. Case in point? This headline/header for an article I ran across on a website I won't mention. The picture looks good enough, although the food stylist should have had some gravy somewhere. Who the fuck eats meatloaf without gravy? Jeez. But I digress. 

The problem I have with this is the headline itself, or - more specifically - the description of the product. Maybe I shouldn't blame the editor/author, but somebody somewhere told them to call a meatless food product a meatloaf. Do you see the problem I have with that - or am I just way too pick-nitty about stupid shit like this?

Sting will soon be an Englishman in San Francisco. The "Every Breath You Take" singer will headline a Super Bowl-branded concert on Feb. 6 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.
