A couple caught on security cameras having sex inside an Arizona eatery allegedly capped off their steamy encounter by stealing cash, liquor and a phone. Scottsdale police are investigating the early-morning break-in at Mon Cheri, a rose-themed restaurant in the Old Town section of Scottsdale known for its pink décor and Instagram-ready displays.
Owner Lexi Caliskan said the bizarre burglary began around 3:50 a.m. Saturday, when security footage showed a man and woman entering the property, engaging in sexual activity among the floral decorations near the outdoor patio seating area, then forcing their way inside.
“They got caught in the moment, there’s roses everywhere, maybe it was kind of romantic, but modern-day Bonnie and Clyde,” Caliskan told ABC15 Arizona. When employees arrived later that morning, they found evidence of a break-in - and of what happened before it.
