Another old-wives-tale myth busted...

 
Drinking cold water after a meal is not dangerous for most people, and the claim that it causes fats to solidify and clog the intestines is a myth.
The body's digestive system is designed to warm anything that is consumed to body temperature before it is passed to the intestines. The stomach's acids and enzymes break down food, and the temperature of the water does not affect this process for most individuals. 
However, there are a few considerations: Digestion and Blood Flow: Some theories suggest that cold water can temporarily constrict blood vessels in the stomach, which could potentially slow down digestion, but this effect is not considered significant for most people.
Specific Conditions: Individuals with certain health conditions, such as achalasia (a rare swallowing disorder), may experience worsened symptoms like pain or esophageal spasms after drinking cold water.
Headaches: A study found that drinking ice-cold water could trigger headaches in some people, particularly those with a history of migraines. 
While some traditional practices like Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) advise against cold drinks, modern science generally finds no significant negative health
