The idea that all of these big city Mayors and blue state Governors would resist help offered to fight crime in their cities and states is shameful at the very least. It's almost as if the mayors - in Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington - all would prefer to watch their own citizens murdered in the their own streets rather than 'bow down' to an opposite party President.
The even worse thing about them is that more than likely, these jackwagons will get re-elected, because their constituents are just as fuckin' closed-minded, hatefule and just downright stupid as the people they vote for. Fairly frightening, isn't it?

It's not hard at all to be proud of my adopted state, especially considering where I moved here from. Sure, it's hot as fuck here in the summers and we are a bonafida hurricane target averaging at least three direct hits every year, but I wouldn't trade the Sunshine State for any Blue State anywhere.

Looking back on the Newark, NJ riots in the summer of 1967, the Newark Police Department was overwhelmed and within the first day, then Governor Joseph Hughes ordered in the NJ National Guard. Fully jacketed with heavy equipment, armored cars and tanks, they were able to finally knock down the criminal unrest. Taking place over a four-day period (between July 12 and July 17, 1967), the Newark riots resulted in at least 26 deaths and hundreds more serious injuries.

She got fired from her cushy, high-paying job, her husband left her, her goombah (the guy canoodling) is no where to be seen, and her life going forward is basically fucked, all because she went to a friggin' Coldplay concert. Considering the band, I'd say she's gotten everything she deserves. I wouldn't know a Coldplay song if you replaced the National Anthem with one. Juss' sayin'...

ReplyDeleteI'm no fan of deploying the military domestically unless it's for something like natural disaster relief. The military is not a police force.
