This road is one mile from my house, and people live on it. Granted, it's not a very highly-trafficed road, and the county evidently has no interest in paving it. That's fine with me, as I'm sure the people that live there are okay with it also.
It looks pretty friggin' spectacular just as it is, doesn't it? I've explained before that I live in very near-by proximity to cattle, horse and orchard country, haven't I. This is right on the edge of all of that - there's a couple of horse farms right down that road...

Make the trees maples instead of oaks, and it would look just like many of the roads I drove on servicing satellite dishes in Vermont. During the winter, you had to be careful because the snowplows would grade over the drainage ditches on either side, and an unwary driver could find his right-side wheels WAY down deep!
