This was our backyard pool at our house in Chocolate Hole on St. John, in the Virgin Islands. Back in '95, when Hurricane Marilyn destroyed our house right down to the slab, the pool remained intact, and we had it cleared and cleaned in just two days.
Up and running when nothing else was, it became 'party central' for dozen of our friends for a long time to come. Thank god for generators and gas cans, because out house power didn't come back for ten weeks...
