Finally. A bit of news that's actually worth noting...

The evolution Bentley has in mind, is automatic, power-adjustable cupholders. The company wants to ensure that occupants' beverages are both easy to access, and that they're secured and less likely to spill. The solution is having both a power-adjustable lid and cup recess. Each cup recess is adjustable up and down in height.
This will allow a beverage to be placed high enough for convenient access, but low enough that it's less likely to fully tip over. Additionally, the lid can slide into place to cover a beverage to further prevent spills. In combination, the beverage could be moved up to practically touch the lid, giving added spill protection.
All that being said, I have three friends who've owned Bentleys - one still has his in his garage. All will gladly/sadly tell you the cars spent more time at the mechanics shop than they did in their driveways, but hey - they look kinda cool, don't they?

I'll buy you a beer if you can find just one person (other than one of his fellow Dimorats) who is as full of shit as this guy. How they rise to such powerful positions is frightening...

This is an aerial view of the "Esther Williams Swimming Pool," made in the shape of Florida at Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven, circa 1950. Reflections from overhanging mossy cypress trees can be seen on the surface of Lake Eloise.
The pool was built as a set for MGM technicolor movie "Easy to Love" (1953) which was partly filmed at the park. The pool is now known as the “Florida Pool” and located within the botanical gardens portion of LegoLand.

This is just down the street from my house. When I first saw it, I wondered WTF kinda tree is it that flowers like that? and then I got up closer and realized it wasn't the tree at all. It's a Bouganvillea bush that's somehow managed to climb the tree over so many years and now is taking the tree over. How friggin' cool is that?

New York and New Jersey — along with most East Coast states — are facing threats of 'life-threatening rip currents' and massive waves from Hurricane Erin as the massive Category 2 cyclone continues to churn off the coast.
The warnings extend from Georgia all the way to Atlantic Canada, and forecasters predicted waves up to 20 feet high in some areas as the hurricane continues its slow-moving trip north - despite the storm being hundreds of miles from shore.
Erin, the first hurricane of the 2025 season, weakened from a Category 4 to a Category 2 overnight but is still ripping sustained gusts of more than 100 miles per hour on Tuesday, according to the latest update from the National Hurricane Center

  1. I once saw a blackberry bush that was the shape of a large, mature orange tree. We had sold our house with the orange grove. Several years later, my sister and I visited and took a tour of the grove. It was pretty impressive. If it had been mine, I would have preferred to keep the tree.

Tidy up or pay the fiddler...

This house is about four blocks from my house, and, yes, it is a shithole. A Villager has been given one week to remove debris from his prop...
