Okay - I'll admit it took me entirely to long to get the brilliance and subtle nuance of this work, but that's the nature of what the late Charles Barsotti did. He made you look deep in to yourself and find a common thread with the things we see and feel in every day life. In this case it's as if he's asking us how often we turn to introspection - how often do we analyze ourselves for our own good. Too deep for you? Stock price of Cracker Barrel has been dropping since they installed the new CEO and drastically cut the dividend. There is very little insider ownership of the stock, so the entire executive staff don't care about stock prices and lastly while the CEO deserves a lot of blame, the Board needs to take ownership as they hired her.
