They refer to her as "The Babushka Lady," an unidentified woman who was present during the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, in 1963. She was given the name "Babushka Lady" because of the headscarf she was wearing, which resembled a babushka scarf worn by older Russian women. She was seen in several photographs and films of the assassination, seemingly holding a camera and filming the events at the time.
Despite numerous appeals from authorities and researchers, she has never been definitively identified or come forward to share any potential footage or information she may have had. Her potential footage is of great interest to those studying the assassination, as it could provide a unique perspective and additional clues about the events of that day.
Maybe one of these days we'll find out that it was the mob, working for, or with, the CIA, who were actually behind his killing. The one thing we can be fairly sure of is that Oswald was a patsy.
Maybe the best book on the subject.

the kill shot came from the front. the zapruder film shows that
ReplyDeleteit was back in 1978 that I first saw the Z-film. dayroom in West Berlin. lots of "shooters" in the room watching it on German TV. after that we KNEW the kill shot came from the front of the car. like a storm drain. which is kind of funny as
ReplyDeletewe had done a LOT of training/ fighting in the storm drains under the city before seeing the film. a few of us started looking into the "Warren report" and came up with that is was the biggest snow/bullshit story ever sold to the public.
and there is no way in hell to explain how or why they did pass that bullshit off as "good for the people" or some other bullshit. and of course, we where told to shut up about it all too. that helped out a lot too.
The babushka lady didn't kill herself....
ReplyDeleteThere is little doubt the whole thing was a grand conspiracy at the highest levels. Oswald was recruited right out of USMC bootcamp for his language skills and intelligence. It is also beyond doubt that the CIA sent him to Russia and orchestrated his activities as a Cuba sympathizer to build a case that he was a Communist, so as to damn him in the public eye once the assassination was over, Oswald probably thought he was working on a secret mission the whole time and might have only realized he was a patsy at the very end. The power of the CIA reached into the Dallas Police and the mafia underworld for bit players. Officer JD Tippet's bizarre single handed pursuit of Oswald after the assassination and use of payphones instead of the police radio to co-ordinate running down Oswald paints him as the man who was assigned to kill the patsy and put some neat closure on the whole lone gunman narrative. That didn't work out as planned and Langley was forced to improvise with the clumsy and unprofessional Jack Ruby shooting instead.
ReplyDeleteKennedy had played by the big boy rules when he asked his Daddy to arrange some cheating in the 1960 Election. Nixon felt he was robbed, but he was advised to suck it up by Eisenhower and wait for another chance. Those underhanded rules of play came back to bite Kennedy despite his popularity and generally good performance in office. His unwillingness to go along with whatever the intelligence community desired and his stated interest in scaling back their power is probably all that it took to doom him, though the tendency for grand peace gestures with the USSR, opposition to an Israeli nuke, and caution in Vietnam only added weight to the argument of those who wanted to kill him. His death marks a clear point at which the American Presidency became a running joke to those who really controlled the country behind the scenes and still do to this day.
Excellent points. There is a u-tube video on a guy named File that is worth a watch. If true, ties up a lot of lose ends.

The X-100 limo had a rear seat that would raise up 10". So, the bullet went through JFK's neck and into Conley's lung. They built a couple of these so you could see the people in the back seat better. I don't any more than anyone else about the assassination, but I do know about the car.
ReplyDeleteEisenhower warned America in 1961, the warning wasn't enough.
ReplyDeleteThe babushka lady was the fallback. If long range sniper bullet didn't get him, she was to Gavrilo Princip Kennedy from close range.
