From TheFederalist.com - A Gallup poll revealed Monday that only 36 percent of Democrats say they are proud to be an American, down from 87 percent in 2001. Meanwhile, at least 84 percent of Republicans have identified themselves as proud Americans throughout the last 24 years.
According to the poll conducted in early June, 87 percent of Democrats in 2001 identified as “extremely” or “very” proud to be American, compared to 36 percent in 2025. Meanwhile, 92 percent of Republican respondents said they were proud to be American, an increase from 90 percent in 2001.
A respondent is identified as a “proud” American if they report being either “extremely” or “very” proud to be American, as opposed to “moderately,” “only a little,” or “not at all.” “Proud” answers were the norm for Americans before the most recent decade and remained consistently high across the political spectrum from 2005-2015, ranging from 81 percent to 85 percent.

"Where at least I know I'm free...." That is how low the bar has been lowered, and it's even a complete lie. This has got to be the most disgraceful song ever written. Not because it expresses pride in America (which is more than fine), but because it lacks any sense of reality, especially when it is played by the criminals in the GOP to deflect from the horrible abuses of freed and liberty in how they govern and vote. Sorry, just tired of the empty platitudes coming from folks who wouldn't know principles if they came up and bitbthem in the ass.

DeleteWhen you see poll after poll where 40% of the country disagrees with common sense policies it's not that hard to believe. There are many issues that should be 90% approval or better. This happened because the replacement theory is fact.

DeleteHere's a perfect example of what I've been talking about. These twits have been given such soft lives for so long that they cannot see the difference between America and a political situation. I despised Obama and Biden, for instance, and I thought they were both an embarrassment to the nation, but I never confused America with them. I understand that people hate Trump, even I don't like a number of his positions and personality, but these idjits see the current administration as BEING America. They have been brought up in an environment of instantaneous and immediate, as in close by, ingratitude. If things are not NOW what they want, then EVERYTHING is totally crap. So, Trump is the President, and he is crap, so America itself is crap. When a democrat gets into office who is radical enough for them, no matter his/her level of competent leadership, everything will be unicorn farts and rainbows.
