How was your weekend? Productive?

President Donald Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced a trade deal between the U.S. and European Union on Sunday. The announcement came moments after the two had addressed the media, agreeing that the likelihood of an agreement was about 50-50. Von der Leyen said the negotiations had taken some "heavy lifting," but the two leaders agreed they were happy with the result.
"We are agreeing that the tariff straight across for automobiles and everything else will be a straight-across tariff of 15%," Trump said. Von der Leyen said Europe will also purchase $150 billion worth of U.S. energy as part of the deal, in addition to making $600 billion in other investments into the U.S.

I hate to admit it, but it took me a minute to get it.

Jay Leno is taking aim at modern late-night comedy shows, claiming the hosts are isolating half their viewers in an interview released just days after Stephen Colbert got the boot from CBS.
There was an analysis done of his work on 'The Tonight Show' for the 22 years and it found that his jokes were roughly equally balanced between going after Republicans and taking aim at Democrats. Did he have a strategy?'
'I got hate letters saying, 'You and your Republican friends,' and another saying, 'I hope you and your Democratic buddies are happy' - over the same joke,' Leno said. 'That's how you get a whole audience. Now you have to be content with half the audience, because you have to give your opinion.'

'Rodney Dangerfield and I were friends,' Continued Leno. 'I knew Rodney 40 years and I have no idea if he was a Democrat or Republican. We never discussed politics, we just discussed jokes.'

On the left, we have a 54-year old actress back in 1987.
On the right, she is also 54-years-old in 2025...

That was yesterday. Supposed to be hotter today.

Bat shit crazy. Over-the-top crazy gay stuff. Really sucks at lip-synching.
A self-styled 'performance artist'. Still a wonderfully haunting song
sung by a woman with a truly wonderful voice.
That's your ear worm for today...

That's a fairly spectacular church, isn't it? It is the Sacred Heart Cathedral,
and it's in my old neighborhood in Newark. Yeah - that's right.
Newark, New Jersey. Go figure...

  2. On the left we have Rue McClanahan and on the right that Latina from 2025. In 2025 we also have "the View", Rosie o fat head, Helen degenerate and more. It's not all about looks, if Catherine Zeta Jones was a commie she wouldn't be the most beautiful woman in the world.

  3. I wonder if that heavily armed golf cart has flat proof tires? How thick is the armor? 4 inches? Over-load springs? And what kind of electronic devices are in there? Drone controls? Periscope? Lasers? I'll be building one tomorrow and suggestions are welcome..

  4. Since NJ is one of the original 13 colonies I'm not surprised by the cathedral. How many mosques are in NJ?

  8. The photo of the Sacred Heart Cathedral, before I read the caption my guess was the newest Mosque in Great Britain.

    1. Having lived in Philly for many decades, I can tell you that ANY major city in Jersey (Newark and Camden included) is a mammoth $hit hole. That beautiful church most likely looks like a bombed-out hulk with homeless ghetto dwellers living inside.

  9. Annie Lennox has a great voice. The video style reminded me of the Constant Craving video by K D Lang who also has an amazing voice.

Regular or high test? There's a question ya don't hear much any more...

Premium gas sounds like it’s something special. But it translates into paying extra for a higher octane without any performance or fuel-eco...
