Black Sabbath played at the Capitol Theatre with Yes and Humble Pie as opening acts in July of '71, right after I got out of Hign School. Ozzy Osbourne later acknowledged Humble Pie (with Peter Frampton on lead guitar) as one of the best opening acts Black Sabbath ever had. The Capitol Theatre is located in Passaic, New Jersey. I was lucky to be there that night - the only time I got to see Sabbath.

Sadly, the Capitol closed in 1989, and was torn down in 1991 - but, for a short while, it was the center of the Rock world .
