This poor bastard really didn't know what hit him. Up in the cherrypicker bucket fixing a busted traffic light when an 18-wheeler making a turn onto the streetclipped his bucket and sent him flying. Thankfully, he did have his hasness on so his brains didn't get scrambled on the roadway. Check this dashcam clip out:

ReplyDeleteThat guy in the bucket had a much better vantage point to see what was going to happen than a trucker with a huge blindspot.

Unless the truck was on a roadway his height would have rendered off limits, it's clearly the bucket truck operator's fault.
