How long will it take to blame this on Climate change?

One of the things that I just don't get is how many people - tourists - there were up on the mountain near where the eruption was. Plus, they're all wearing those goofy hard hats. WTF do they think that'll protect them from?
Lava temperatures typically range from 1,300 to 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit.
The exact temperature can vary depending on the lava's composition, and it can also change as the lava flows and cools. The US National Park Service notes that fresh, erupting lava from Kīlauea is about 2,100 degrees Fahrenheit (1,150 degrees Celsius).

Lava cools quickly upon exposure to air, with temperatures dropping hundreds of degrees per second, but it'd surely still be hot enough to melt the living fuck outta that hard hat, Skippy. Jeez...

  1. Greta Thunberg was 20 miles from the volcano this week on the way to show her support for Hamas murderers. Anyone, include Etna, will want to throw up when seeing her.

  2. I fully support appeasing the volcano gods by throwing Greta into Etna- maybe she does have a purpose in this world!

  3. I stood on the rim of Mt Yassur in Vanuatu, feeling the boom every 30 seconds, watching the lava lumps head up into the cloud just above the summit and go plop back onto the crater walls fairly close to where the onlookers were standing. No hard hats. It was fantastic and made easy by being able to drive up there - you only walk a couple of hundred yards at the end. Wife loved it as well but was nervous, probably being of the weaker sex and all that.
