Deceptive headlines are all the rage these days - like this one...

Like this one - a prime example of bullshit and bluster putting fear into the hearts of flyers like me. The Brits are guiltier than most for headlines that suck you in and then let you down. This is a prime example from the US version of DailyMail.com. Right off the bat they get you thinking that there won't be cocktails on flights anymore - or at least that's where my beer-soaked brain took me. Turns out it just one airline and just a couple of flights, and no where near as dire as I would have thought.

Turns out, economy passengers travelling on British Airways from London's Heathrow Airport to three major US cities, Miami, Boston and Los Angeles, will no longer be provided with water bottles while onboard. Instead, those travelling on the select routes will be served paper cups of water in a bid to 'reduce plastic waste'. And THAT story was a front-page item. Where can I get a juicy job like that editor has? Jeez...
