ReplyDeletePerhaps dreaming in black and white only started when people began looking at black and white photos and continued until color television became omnipresent, and dreaming in color is just a reversion to the normal state of affairs. I mean, Calvin's father may have explained monochrome photos to him by saying that the world used to be black and white, but while I have spent time in some pretty drab areas, that doesn't match my memories.
