a new AMERICAN Pope. Then I heard that he's only 69 years old, so it looks like ole' Leo is gonna be my last Pope. Bear in mind I'm about as failed a Catholic as any former altar boy can be, but the Vatican and all it's trappings have always fascinated me in ways no other organized religion - or any organization for that matter - has ever done. I even went to the Vatican a few years ago and got myself an official Popener. If you don't know what that is, Google it.
I wish him well, and hope for all of us - and the world - that he isn't a commie like it appeared most of his predecessors have been. Speaking of openers, us ole' folks need to have shit like this in the junk drawer in the kitchen:
