It's all a 'call my bluff' game for him...

This is what the guy is all about - making deals. Some work out, some don't, but he knows damn well that 'nothing ventureed, nothing gained' is a truism we should all live by. He knows you can't make deals if you can't force your opponents hand, and he backs it with real action, not smoke and mirrors. The left hates him for his ability to get shit done. Imagine that...

How long do you think it'll take for some jerkoff somewhere to claim that the signalling for the Pope's election is racist, with the whole black smoke/white smoke thing?

For whatever reason, travel to EWR (Newark) has been a clusterfuck since they opened that new terminal a while back. I think the bigger issue isn't that we need to make our existing airports bigger, we need them to be more efficient, and maybe add a couple new ones in to the mix.
Add to that the fact that the ranks of qualified air traffic controllers are more sparse than ever before. In January, NATCA President Nick Daniels said in an interview with CBS News that there are 10,800 air traffic controllers, but the number should be 14,335. Additionally, more than 90% of the nation’s air traffic control facilities fall below the recommended staffing levels.

Here's an FYI you can throw in the backseat: Stephanie Courtney, who plays Flo in Progressive commercials, reportedly earns around $8 million annually. While she initially made about $500,000 in her first few years, that figure has reportedly increased to nearly $3 million per commercial...

This is for our Buddy P2 up in the cold dark north. If you ever find yourself in Fairbanks, Alaska, you'd find this shithole little tourist trap bar that thinks it's in Key West instead of the frozen north. Having owned a couple bars myself, I really do think that whole stapling dollar bills everywhere is kinda stupid, but that's just me.

  1. At least Flo is decent looking. So many people in ads today look like homeless bums and terrorists.

  3. I like the dollar bill thing myself. I have quite a few dollars tacked up around Northern California and Nevada. The best idea I saw was the "Salty Dawg" in Homer AK. They remove all the dollars every Jan 1st and donate them to a local charity.

  6. "Kind of like going out to dinner with my wife..." Ummm, hope you paid your life insurance policy after making that statement! What are the numbers on life expectancy after making statements like that, I wonder?! ;-)

  7. Skinny’s is so cheezy it’s actually worth the half hour drive. Once. At least the beer was cold. Don’t think I’ve been in there in 25 years. Better place is Chatanika Lodge.

Tidy up or pay the fiddler...

This house is about four blocks from my house, and, yes, it is a shithole. A Villager has been given one week to remove debris from his prop...
