Are you ready for 'pay-per-Google'?

"Pay-per-search" in the context of Google refers to Google Ads, a platform where businesses bid on keywords to have their ads appear in Google search results. This means businesses pay only when a user clicks on their ad, driving traffic to their website. 
It may not be too much longer, however, when they might want to put the search engine behind a firewall or on a subscription basis. Probably won't happen, but ya never know, do ya?
