In Gallup’s most recent poll, only 38 percent of Americans voiced a favorable view of the Democrats, the party’s worst showing in at least three decades. Quinnipiac University, meanwhile, pegs approval of congressional Democrats at just 21 percent, an all-time low. And some of this disdain is coming from inside blue America: Only 40 percent of Democratic voters are “satisfied” with their party’s approach to fighting Donald Trump, according to Quinnipiac; in CNN’s polling, that figure is 22 percent.
The biggest problem for them at this time is that there is no clear leader for the party to cling to. Certainly AOC and Crockett are way to far to the left of the left, and Bernie's too far out the pasture to ever meet the middle. It'll certainly be interesting to watch. Like watching a train wreck. In slow motion. After smokin' a doob. Juss' sayin'...

ReplyDeleteIf I have to pull out a pistol it means I am under imminent threat of death or grave bodily harm. I think I will stick with more lethal means of defense. Co2 is ok for rabbits and squirrels but not goblins IMHO.

Deleteyou will not find any crook using a less lethal weapon. this crap is for stupid people. if you need a gun, not much else will do at that time. but you better know a damn good lawyer too. do not say anything to the cops. talk with your lawyer FIRST. oh, yeah. expect the cops to keep your gun too. it is hell trying to get YOUR weapon back from them even after a "legal" shooting. been there, did that. expect to pay a few grand in legal advise as well.
ReplyDeleteI took a professional self-defense course a number of years ago. They stated depending on the state, there is an issue with using less than lethal shotgun rounds. Sure, you might be able to legally purchase that non-firearm, but it may be illegal to use it on a home invader. And as someone else has already pointed out, if its time to shoot someone with that, it's time to shoot them with a real firearm.

DeleteI have an M-1911 .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun that will punch a very large hole in a wall and still take out a perp. That is my self-defense weapon of choice. Not a BB-gun or a CO2 pop gun...or a nerf gun.
