So we are to believe that Lone Stars, Dos Ickees, and PBR's don't exist and the favorite beer in NJ and friggin' Georgia - of all places - isn't even a fuckin' beer ferfucksake. It's something else, and there ain't no fuckin' way it's the most popular beer there. Calling Guiness (liquid bread by my reckoning) anything but mud in a mug is crazy. Who makes up these friggin' things, anyways?

Georgia is not a Guiness state. Most bar brand beer is PBR. Terrapin is one of the big sellers.
ReplyDeleteCoors isn't the favorite in Colorado where it's made. Most of the guys I knew preferred Bud. Some snots liked some Mexican shit.

ReplyDeletePennslyvania....it's Yuengling, if you voted for Trump.
ReplyDeleteWhile insulting Guinness isn't called for, I certainly agree that it is in NO WAY the most popular beer in GA. There might be a few six packs in the fridge at the local Kroger, but EVERY OTHER BEER is there by the case and moves quickly. And at only 5% alcohol, what is even the point in drinking Guinness?
ReplyDeleteI don't drink beer but I hang with people that do. Here on the west coast of Florida I hear people ordering Stella Artois more and more frequently and I see more of it in the store coolers. And oddly enough, Michelob ULTRA also seems quite popular. But since the Dylan Mulvaney transgender controversy a year ago it looks like the popularity of Bud Lite is still way down.
ReplyDeleteI am just enjoying the little dog lapping up beer.
