Sure - let's give money to women just because they got knocked up. Great plan...

One of the proposals to encourage women to have children includes a $5,000 baby bonus, which would be given to mothers after delivery of their child. Another proposal involves saving 30 percent of Fulbright program scholarships for those who are married or have children.
The administration is also considering a more educational approach, supposedly floating a government program that would help educate women about their cycles and, by consequence, have a better idea about their ovulation window and the ideal time to conceive.
That second idea may be the stupidest thing to come out this administration. At least to date it is. I'da thought that shit was a mother's job, but what do I know, right?

  1. Why are we even funding Fulbright scholarships, all it does is reward Socialist thinking, leftists whoveventually find there way to the government teat for the rest of their non-productive lives.
What Fulbright Scholar has ever produced anything of value? Serious question, I am willing to learn.

  2. Friend, have you looked at America's birthrate?

Like Russia (who BTW is also paying for healthy families) we are well on our way to collapse due to lack of replacements.

  3. Please don't!
It is only going to incentivize welfare queens.

    1. Right. You very seldom get the desired people reproducing with a plan like this. The whole thing smells like another welfare giveaway.

  4. Limit this to married women who aren't having babies the taxpayers aren't already supporting.

  5. Some countries give tax breaks. Russia is and I think so is Poland or Hungary. I think I read Japan is worried about a low birthrate. The UK and Ireland are done for. Meanwhile muslimes are popping them out in the U.S. like turds.

  7. Because a tax break and stealing from your neighbors to pay for your kid's "education" isn't enough?

  8. No more cash handouts. Think about what a multi, multi billion dollar disaster the mis-managed COVID-19 Relief Fund handouts were. Trump means well but down in the trenches actually running government programs are thieves, shysters, scammers, grifters, idiots and a small minority of competent honest people.. Ir Trump wants to encourage couples to have more children he should forget about handing cash and just bump up the IRS Child Tax Credit to 4 or 5 times the current $500. And make it a tax credit against earned income only.

  9. It's just more wealth redistribution. Could it at a minimum be just limited to parents who are US citizens only.

  10. $5,000 a baby is a joke, those things are expensive to maintain. $5000 won't even cover pre-natal medical costs so you're already out of pocket before it's born.

Everyone has a favorite movie, don't they?

There are movies that, when they're on, you have  to watch them. Casablanca is that way for me ...    Netflix announced Friday that it ...
