It's always sunny in St. Pete for a reason...

St. Petersburg holds the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive days of sunshine, boasting a streak of 768 days from February 1967 to March 1969. This achievement has earned the city the nickname "The Sunshine City".
St. Pete lives up to its reputation. In the average year it gets 361 days of sunshine, which sounds impossible in the wet and rainy state of Florida. But St. Pete exists in what TV weather people call a 'meteorological goldilocks zone'. Not a bad reputation to have, isn't it?
