I knew I couldn't be the only one...

I knew there were some dick jokes out there somewhere...
...

The weakening Canadian dollar and  Trump talking about annexing Canada has their panties in a twist, so many pansy-ass Canadians think it’s time to leave Florida. In the past two months, some Florida realtors say they’ve been inundated with Canadian sellers who are hoping to offload their properties as quickly as possible. It’s a hard time for Canadians to own their own vacation home in the U.S. - insurance and condo premiums have increased dramatically following last hurricane season - and coupled with the weakening Canadian dollar, it’s no longer financially feasible for many snowbirds. And that’s before you get to the sense of shame that many Canadians in Florida felt for being there right now. Some were considering Portugal or Costa Rica as their new winter destinations.
Some of these snowbirds are making the big decision to sell their properties, even as the market isn’t really in their favour. Not only are interest rates still high in the U.S, but southern Florida’s market is facing a glut of properties on the market. Realtors said if snowbirds can ride out the lull, they should.
To be perfectly fair, we (well, me) won't miss 'em. They have proven to be notoriously cheap and really shitty tippers, so the bartenders and waitresses sure as fuck won't miss 'em, either. Juss' sayin'...

Barack Obama has condemned the education department for freezing $2.3bn in federal funds to Harvard University after the elite college rejected a list of demands from the White House.

Helluva effort, wouldn'tja say?

Yeah - that's the new liberal dilemna - how to keep their tree-hugger battery-powered car from getting torched by their fellow libocrats. Kinda paradoxically funny, ain't it?

Yeah - that's yer former first lady doin' the Dougie...

The government is merely a servant―merely a temporary servant; it cannot be its prerogative to determine what is right and what is wrong, and decide who is a patriot and who isn't. Its function is to obey orders, not originate them.

  1. Giving $2.3B to Harvard?
After Trump opened the windows so we can see what's happening the tax dollars I'm somehow not surprised at that. I guess we see if they have enough political pull to get to keep the money AND tell Trump to kiss their ass...

  2. For over 40 years, I worked in retail and then in wholesale sales. Looking at the photo image of a packed shopping mall makes me a bit nostalgic. It certainly was a very good way to make a living.

  3. The guv was giving unemployment to 5 year olds. If I'd known this I would've put my age down as 5 when making claims so they wouldn't be denied.

  4. I had a love hate relationship with malls. It was great to have everything in one place at Christmas time or knowing after getting tools at Sears I could walk over to the book store. But I also hate crowds and rude people.

  5. Malls are more like gang hideouts and mosques now.

  7. Those chicks who sat on top ob Bezo's carnival ride rocket have the gall to call themselves "astronauts" . That's like buying a ticket on Delta from JFK to Miami, and calling yourself a pilot . A better name for them - the " High Hoes " .

  8. Harvard's Endowment fund is currently about $53,000,000,000. Their 2023 enrollment numbers was 7,110 -- so the endowment has almost $7.5 million per student. Why are taxpayer dollars going to a bunch of elite snobs? FJB and FBO.

  9. True story: Canuck foursome in a central Florida bar/grill. $90 bill, $3 tip. Waitress said it wasn't unusual. Nobody wants their tables when they come in.

  10. It was hard for me (and many other fans) to accept when we learned that Toby Keith was a life long Libtard and registered Democrat. Although he did officially leave the Democrat party and registered as an Independent back around 2008 when his politics conflicted with the "Red White and Blue" conservative image his songs projected.

  11. Thought there would be more stories on the canadian's leaving Florida. Most are really ok but cheap, but the french canadians are the worst. The thing I like about the canadians is that they have to leave every spring.
