And you wondered how we got so much in debt as a country?

This is a classic example of why DOGE is so important
now - and forever...

Harvard University Monday rejected the Trump administration's sweeping demands for oversight and internal policy changes, calling the effort an unlawful and unconstitutional overreach. Hours later, the administration said it was immediately freezing $2.3 billion in federal grants and contracts to Harvard and its affiliated hospitals and research institutions.
This showcases how the 'you scratch my back' mindset of Washington works. Why the fuck are pols and administraters giving your money to a college - any college - that is not a PUBLIC college? These elitist fuckwads don't need your money - fuck they have 54 billion friggin' dollars sitting tax free (yeah - that's right) in their 'endowments'. Let 'em spend that if they're broke. This shit has to stop, and it has to stop yesterday.
And don't start talking to me about 'academic freedom'. You want to be 'free'? Don't accept Government monies that absolutely should come with conditions, ya dickheads. Ya want the money? Obey the rules, period, end of sentence. Juss' sayin'...

An unidentified Polish man died after drunkenly driving into a tree, after which his BAC was measured at a world-record 1.48. That means over one percent of his blood was straight-up booze. The legal limit for driving in the U.S. is .08 percent, while death is “likely” if you hit .5 percent.

Dan Caldwell, a senior adviser to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, was escorted out of the Pentagon building as part of an "unauthorized disclosure" investigation. He is accused of leaking sensitive defense intel to a liberal reporter.

What the fuck is wrong with these people?

Another one comes out of nowhere...
Another grassroots, widespread, most-likely Sorros-funded bullshit day of protest against the Trump administration is planned nationwide on Saturday. The 50501 Movement 'takes momentum from recent protests to encourage Americans to become each other's "social support web" as the administration's policies target marginalized communities.' The name '50501 Movement', meaning 50 protests, 50 states, 1 movement, is pushing back against what it called executive overreach from the Trump administration. Its organizing started on Reddit. "Our movement shows the world that the American working class will not sit idly by as plutocrats rip apart their democratic institutions and civil liberties while undermining the rule of law," the movement's website said.
Think about this for half a second. These people are going to demonstrate against DJT's efforts to save them money, reduce regs on their lifes and lifestyles, get rid of illegals (especially gang-banger criminal types) and lower prices for consumers across the board. THAT is what his administration is doing, and they don't like it one bit.

What - if anything - did they accomplish?  One of them actually had the balls to refer to herself and her other rich-bitch friends that she - and they - were astronauts having done this. A news outlet referred to them as 'the crew of the space flight'.
They were neither. They were attention-whore rich people who were passengers on a very expensive carnival ride. Get over yourselves, ladies. You proved - and accomplished - nothing of significance to anyone but yourselves. Jeez.

I'm not a religious guy by any stretch of the imagination, but there's something about this cartoon that kinda chafes me a bit. This is what the New Yorker Magazine thinks is funny these days. I don't think they've run a truly legit funny cartoon in ten years at least. It mostly smug, hipster bullshit that I don't even get most of the time, but WTF do I know? I tought Dom Deluise and Jonathan Winters were funny as fuck all, so that's my perpsective.

  1. I'm with you on Jonathon Winters and Dom Deluise and one of the funniest Tonight Show segments was Rodney Dangerfield going on one of his rants while Dom Deluise sat next to him nearly falling off his chair from laughter. Winters could get more out of a stick or a hat in a few minutes than most modern day comedians can get out of an hour long show.
As to Harvard, let'em spend some or all of the 50 some billion that they have in the bank instead of stealing what I've worked for.

  3. I'm reasonably sure that $54B Harvard has is invested with a heavy dose of insider trading. It's about $7M per student. They should get zero from the government (read "taxpayers").

  4. A lot, and I mean a lot of crooked politicians come from Harvard including a bunch of presidents. And I first heard it was 9 billion, disappointed it's only 2.3. Who the hell do these assholes think they are?

  5. Agree with that second paragraph, Paul.
And those weren't "astronauts", they were "ballast."

  6. I totally agree with Paul V. I'd also like to put in a word for Pat Paulsen. His humor was as dry as the Sahara Desert, but I always rolled every time I saw him.

    1. I remember him "running" for President in '68 on the slogan "We can't stand Pat."

  7. A sheriff's deputy in Minnesota told me the highest BAC he ever saw was .4 in an Indian (feather not dot) and you would never have guessed he had anything to drink. He also said he was the only person whose wrists were too big for his handcuffs so he just drove him to the jail without cuffs.

  8. I read a comment that Hahvahd could provide a full-ride scholarship to every student AND run the entire university and still have excess income from their investments. Hahvahd is an investment fund that owns a school, time to cancel it's tax exemption and make them start to pay.

Don't Bernie and AOC constantly demand the rich pay their fair share?
