Who is it that organizes these protests and who makes the signs?
I don't no a single person who'd ever do this kinda shit...
This is a classic example - these people demonstrate during a protest against federal employee layoffs at Yosemite National Park, California on March 1, 2025. My questions are like who are these people? Are they park-goers, are they paid activists or maybe even park employees? When these news outlets report this shit, they never give details on those involved. The National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) estimates 1,000 US National Park Service employees who were on one-year probationary periods were laid off. About 3,400 employees of the US Forest Service were among the cuts too, according to multiple US media reports. The cuts were part of a declared effort to reduce public spending by dismantling the federal bureaucracy.
Sounds pretty reasonable to me...
Turns out a good number of these protests are being oganized by a NGO called the National Parks Conservation Association, who's stated goals are "protecting and enhancing America's National Park System for present and future generations".
Sounds to me all they're doing is trying to protect jobs, but what do I know...

The US Department of Education is planning to cut about half of its workforce. The mass layoffs will affect nearly 2,100 people who are set to be placed on leave from 21 March.

Speaking of Paris, I says to myself I says 'What the fuck are these people trying to say with this friggin' nonsense? It ain't like anybody's gonna buy stupid shit like this, are they?
And then a voice in the back of my head reminds me some jerkoff somewhere paid four million dollars for a banana that was duct-taped to a wall.

This guy was President of the Philippenes. He was arrested early on Tuesday in Manila, following the International Criminal Court's probe into alleged crimes against humanity during an anti-drugs crackdown that killed thousands and drew condemnation around the world. Funny, I never heard anthing about this - did you? And for that matter, aside from the illegitimacy
of the ICC, do we give a shit?

I did follow what Duterte was doing and even with the damage drug running causes he went way overboard with murdering drug dealers though I'd be tempted to rid the world of scum like them. Regardless, it's an issue for the Philippines, not a bunch of black robed nobodies who's main talent is scarfing at the public trough.
ReplyDeleteEver hear of Rent-A-Mobs?
ReplyDeleteFord may have been told that Canada imports 83% of their toilet paper from the US. After that, he backed down. After all, otherwise who is going to clean up all the shit he spreads?
ReplyDeleteWe should all be concerned about what goes on in D.C. Drunk parties, drunk voting, voting while high, going in with tens of thousands in the bank and having tens of millions in the bank a couple years later.
ReplyDeleteI'll be a contrarian. The way they are dealing with Duterte may be the end-run around Biden's pardon of Fauci. Fauci should be arrested for crimes against humanity, tried, and hanged.
ReplyDeleteThe four million for a banana taped to the wall was money laundering, just like Hunter Biden's paintings.
