It was indeed, it's just rare to see it broadsides, and yes - it doesn't look any where near as big as it's reputation. There is a Titanic museum in Belfast, No. Ireland that has a truly spectacular display of everthing you'd want to know about it. I have first-hand knowledge of the museum becaus my brothert TJ was a tour guide there for years after retiring from Microsoft.

 

 

The Titanic was actually built in Belfast and transferred to England for it's premier/final sailing. The hottest selling T-shirt in the gift shop? This:
