Oops - I did it again...

I deleted last night's post because it was also
put behind a 'warning'. It was obviously horrifyingly offensive to some overly-sensitive someone somewhere in a cubicle in an underground bunker.

How incredibly appropriate that the group that named themselves after the place I live in would finally come to visit! The group that stormed onto the disco scene in the 1970s (well, actually, none of these guys were in the original group, but who cares, right?) will be performing on April 10 at Savannah Center ( mid-sze venue) here. There will be shows at 4 and 7 p.m.
The group rose to prominence decades ago with 'flamboyant costumes, strong messaging and unique choreography'. Trump has long used “YMCA” on the campaign trail, and his fist-pumping enthusiasm for the song became a signature part of his rallies. That fact alone is probably why he got elected.

It really is scary how people are freaking out about shutting down this boodoggle of an operation. Somewhere along the line somebody's feet have to be put to the fire for all the stupid shit these jerkoffs did with your money.

PBS is shutting down its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) office and its diversity officers are leaving (being fired) in response to President Trump’s executive orders to get rid of that stupid fuckin' nonsense...

Can somebody out there translate this one for me?

This move is absolutely fuckin' brilliant...
Defense Department Secretary Pete Hegseth on Monday signed a memorandum reversing the political left's decision to rename Fort Bragg as Fort Liberty. In a statement, Pentagon press secretary John Ullyot explained Hegseth's decision on the storied North Carolina base.
He wrote: "Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth signs a memorandum aboard a C-17 en route from Joint Base Andrews to Stuttgart on February 10, 2025, directing the renaming of Fort Liberty, North Carolina, to Fort Roland L. Bragg.
The new name honors the heroic service of Pfc. Roland L. Bragg, a World War II veteran awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his extraordinary bravery during the Battle of the Bulge.

  2. I like Bonny and Clyde's hoard of weapons better. No Tommy Guns, but with 2 or 3 Browning Automatic Rifles (BAR). The .45 acp of the Thompson was not known for it's penetration power and wasting of ammo. The BAR fired a 30.06 round that would go through just about anything. And the cyclic rate of fire from the BAR was much slower and more manageable. Hence, less waste of ammo.

    1. Not that Clyde worried much about ammo. They also found 100 loaded magazines for the BAR in the car.

  3. "Gives motor joy and pain" in Italian. Probably talking about his recalcitrant, unreliable Italian sports car.

  4. Women and cars - Joy and pain

Sorta the italian equivalent of "If it's got tits or tires, it's trouble", but with a little more upside...

  8. Commies are whining, claiming Fort Bragg's name change is going to cost millions. B-S. They did not whine when the name was changed to Liberty now did they? Didn't think so. The name can gradually be changed back to Bragg with a few keystrokes as older paperwork is consumed. BFD. Commercial signs sure as hell do not cost thousands. Every Fort/Post/Base has Gerber machines and painters for making new vinyl signs. As always, the libs are fulla sh*t.

  9. A gun is just a tool. It's the man (or woman, with all due respect Bonnie Parker) who counts. It's a novel, but Stephen Hunter's G-Man is worth your time if you're remotely interested.

  10. Host your own blog and you won't have to worry about what these woke wusses dictate. You use their kit and you sacrifice your freedom to show cartoon nipples. No point in whining about it. I used to enjoy these cartoons but smudging them ruins it. May as well move over to cat pictures and increase your audience.

I suspect that next year most of those jobs won't even be in the top 100. When the job market is skewed by government the people are misled. Government screws up everything it touches.
