Paradise is an unincorporated town and census-designated place (CDP) in Clark County, Nevada, adjacent to the city of Las Vegas. Paradise contains Harry Reid International Airport, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), most of the Las Vegas Strip, and most of the tourist attractions in the Las Vegas area (excluding downtown).

yep. the city of Las Vegas proper is very small, i grew up there in the 60's and 70's it was a great place to live when the mob ran it ( they had kids in school and families there as well ). very little crime, the streets were safe and everybody had money in their pockets until the feds came in and ran the mob out. Tony Spilatro and his crew were to blame for that, fucking with the regular locals. the mob didn't want attention of any kind, they kept everything quiet. the feds came in and fucked it up for everyone, it went to shit fast after that when the large corporations came in, now it's all gangs and the hoods. the mob would have nipped that shit in the bud. i could write a book on that but nobody would believe me. it was American Graffiti and Goodfellows all rolled into one then. it was an awesome time to be young then and there.
