The 'logic' behind this argument is that the car need not be plugged in to the grid in order to charge it's batteries. It charges itself when it's running on engine power,, and that fact makes it evil and unworthy. Does that make your brain hurt as much as it does mine?
Something else that makes no sense? The Department for Transport (DfT) (England's DOT) will ban the sale of new cars powered solely by internal combustion engines from January 1, 2030. Read more about it here, but you don't need to - it's soul sucking moronic nonsense on just the idea...

Maybe "confidence will be lost" because electric cars are stupid and inefficient, no matter how high quality it is. Hybrids, done right, ARE THE SHIT!
ReplyDeleteI would like to see how their electrical grid handles it as they have to cater for demand when everyone switches their kettles on during a commercial break on tv, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TV_pickup
ReplyDeleteNow imagine everybody coming home after work and plugging their EVs in.

I'm pretty sure they know EVs won't cut it. That the lower middle class will.never be able to afford EVs. The goal is 15 minute cuties. Only the rich will be able to afford to live in the countryside, and people will be easy to control.
ReplyDeleteIf you think EVs are stupid, read up on EV farm equipment.
As far as I know, vehicles have been charging their own batteries ever since the electric engine starter and lighting system was invented.
