Why are there people who still haven't decided?

That may well be the single best 'on the money' cartoon you're going to see during the election cycle. Just like you guys who ragged on me about quoted the polls and how bullshit they are, those segmented polls are like a double shot of crock-o'-shit cheap whiskey. If you're relying on polls to make up you rmind who to vote for, please stay the fuck home and don't bother. Juss' sayin'...

This is reported to be the largest settlement by a US diocese over decades-old
abuse claims. Archbishop Jose H Gomez (pictured) 'expressed sorrow' for the abuse in announcing the settlement on Wednesday.
“I am sorry for every one of these incidents, from the bottom of my heart,” Gomez said in a statement. “My hope is that this settlement will provide some measure of healing for what these men and women have suffered.”
The archdiocese began mediating the abuse claims after California enacted a law that allowed new lawsuits to be based on past instances of sexual abuse involving minors.
After the lawyers take their $ 308,000,000.00 chunk off the top, each of the 1,353 people who alleged that they were sexually abused as children will get about $ 430,000.00.
Just one question: Does the Archdiocese actually have that much money laying around, or did they have to beg the money from Rome where they have more money than God himself? Juss' sayin'...

The town of Salem, Massachusettes will be giving 100 applicant
residents $500 per month for one year as part of a 'study'...
I would be more than happy if my elected leaders did something
like this with my very-hard-earned tax dollars. Wouldn't you as well?

  1. In 2008, I followed the polls closely in the primary to determine who to vote for. My goal was to keep the race undecided for as long as possible.

If you think the race is about the person, you can be undecided because you hate both candidates. If you realize it's about direction and policy, if you don't know by now, don't vote.

  2. "Unburdened by what has been" translates to "burn down everything that exists and recreate society in whatever vision you have." If inflation makes the dollar worth zero, the millionaire and the beggar have the same amount of purchasing power. The person who knows how the factory works is tossed aside and whoever is most connected to the guys with guns now runs the factory. The white family that grew the food for the last 200 years is displaced from the farm so that some inner city kids can experience the joy of farming -- causing society to starve. But that's okay. Starving people are easier to control.
