Sunday insignifica - PART THREE

It’s easy to believe that Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze” is about 
drugs, but apparently that is not the case. Sci-fi fan Jimi Hendrix actually found inspiration for the song in a book called Night of Light, which he borrowed from a friend.
According to Cracked.com, the book used the phrase, “purplish haze” to describe sunspots surrounding a planet. “Purple Haze” started out as a ten-page poem about a war on Neptune and ended up becoming the legendary song we all know!
