Let this be your ear worm for today.

Saw them last year right here in The Villages at The Sharon - 
a nice small theater within the development that seats just under 1,000 old farts like me. 
There wasn't an empty seat in the whole place, and these guys ripped the fuckin' roof off ther place playing an amazing almost two-hour set. Very friggin' impressive.

  1. I was 13 and they were doing a battle of the bands at Massingill park in Savannah GA in 1974. I saw them 10 years later when they were the opener for Huey Lewis and the News "Sports" tour. They were better than the News.

  2. I'm an old fart! OK. no question 'bout it, but I still can't find five songs from the decade 2010 to 2020 that, to my ear, are as anywhere as pleasing (sing-alongable/danceable/ just sit back and enjoyable) as nearly any five from the decade 1950 to 1960.
