The transfer of files from old PC to new one did not go as planned. I'll try to keep you guys aware, but I may have lost all of my art and pics...

Lost stuff? But you still have that backup, right?
ReplyDeleteOnce suffered a major dumper with a work computer. I called helpdesk and they reinstated everything from the night's backup. Similar thing happened with my home computer, but I lost only a specific set of files. Good ol' Carbonite restored everything. Don't lose hope!

ReplyDeleteIf the old computer won’t boot I have taken the hard drive form the old computer and put it an external enclosure and gotten files off in that manner. You can find enclosures at Best Buy or any electronics store. It has gotten easier to do this lately. Used to be a real chore.
