From the first time I heard his "Embryonic Journey" I've ever admired Kaukonen's picking, and I think Jack Casady is one of the all-time great electric bass players. I can manage a workmanlike rendition of "Good Shepherd," but the rest of Kaukonen's goodies are beyond my level of skill.
