Babs and I were discussing this whole thing over cocktails last evening, and the score at the time was Me-4, Babs-still milking her first glass of wine, but that's a discussion we can have later. Anyway, Babs said that Joe would probably resign before the election so his legacy would be having put in office the first half-black half-indian woman President. I retorted that made sense only if you discounted Joe's ego, which would NEVER allow him to step aside - not ever. I also stated that if it became too obvious that Joe really did hadda go, he himself wouldn't say shit. Dr. Jill would make the announcement and we'd probably never see Joe again. I like that theory a lot...

Rideshare drivers in Massachusetts will soon get company-provided
benefits, as well as a minimum pay of $32.50 per hour, starting on August 15th. That’s thanks to a new settlement between the state and rideshare companies Uber and Lyft, four years after Attorney General Andrea Campbell sued the companies, asserting their drivers ought to be considered employees under state law.
